The Sand series is an icon in the REV'IT! lineup, embodying a distinctive style that has, over the years, defined travel within the motorcycle industry. That legacy continues with the Sand 5 H2O jacket. The Evolution The latest iteration of the Sand series represents an evolution rather than a revolution. This change is marked by small tweaks and adjustments aimed at enhancing its overall performance. The Sand 5 jacket (as part of the Sand 5 outfit with matching pants) remains as relevant today as it was 15 years ago. In crafting the Sand 5, a delicate balance is struck, paying homage to the past while looking towards the future. Shifting Styles The Sand 5 H2O jacket takes on a slightly more sport-driven character compared to the Sand 4. As adventure bikes become more sport-centric and dynamic, the Sand 5 H2O reflects this industry shift. Matching the fast-paced nature of sport and the thirst for the uncharted, the Sand 5 H2O jacket fuses two genres into one. Furthermore, the jacket is hydration pack prepared in the lower back pocket (like with our Trail vest), with a cutout in the left corner to feed a water tube underneath the arm and up the front to be attached on the left side. The Over and Under Concept Like we previously introduced in one of our ADV jackets—the Offtrack 2 H2O—we’ve taken our know-how of the proven over and under waterproof liner concept and applied it to our Sand 5 H2O jacket. Wear the detachable hydratex 3L liner over or under your protective layer according to your personalized preference for keeping the rain away—and keeping you dry. Though we recommend wearing it over because of the high-performance characteristics of the membrane and its design-driven aesthetics. A detachable, separately wearable thermal liner is also included to up the ante on warmth and comfort on cold, rainy days.--

It’s a daunting task when trying to improve upon the pinnacle motorcycle jacket of our adventure collection, but we made it happen. The Dominator 3 GTX motorcycle jacket has enhanced ventilation, waterproofing, and refinements to every element of the construction to upgrade performance and comfort for the rider. The fully waterproof motorcycle jacket features the tried and tested 3L GORE-TEX laminate with an updated, clean design. The detachable storm collar - which protects the neck of the rider against the elements - can be stored in the back pocket when not needed.

The stretch cuffs are also detachable and will block cold air trying to flow into the sleeves of the motorcycle jacket. In higher temperatures, airflow to the body is improved by redesigned VCS|Zippers at the upper and lower arms while our patented VCS|Aquadefence panels on the chest cool down the upper body. The 3L GORE-TEX Pro reinforced Armacor fabric is used on the shoulders for extra abrasion resistance and durability. Protection is solidified by our award-winning SEEFLEX CE-level 2 armor at the shoulders and elbows and the SEESOFT CE-level 2 back protector. The motorcycle jacket is prepared for our SEESOFT CE-level 1 divided chest protectors. The detachable kidney belt provides stability and protection to the lower back area.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Stratum (which means layers of rock) GTX motorcycle jacket is our next-generation adventure motorcycle jacket that consists of two outer shells. The base outer shell is comprised of air mesh with built-in protectors and on top of that, a GORE-TEX waterproof outer shell can be used during rides in cold or wet weather. This new two-layer system provides maximum versatility and comfort in any season or any weather conditions.

During rides in Spring/Summer or warmer temperatures, the class AA CE-certified air mesh layer will keep you cool and comfortable; allowing air to flow toward the body. The air mesh motorcycle jacket is equipped with our position-adjustable CE-level 2 SEEFLEX protectors at the elbows as well as a CE-level 2 SEESOFT back protector. An extra upgrade can easily be made by adding our CE-Level 1 chest protectors. The detachable kidney belt provides stability and protection to the lower back area. Additionally, a hydration bag can be fitted in the pocket around back.

When the weather takes a turn for the worse or for when you’re intentionally riding in colder and wet climates, the waterproof 3L GTX laminated shell can be added on top of the air mesh motorcycle jacket, providing maximum waterproofing and weather protection. This waterproof shell is level B CE-certified and combined with the AA Air mesh layer it offers the highest level of protection in our adventure collection. Ventilation zippers on the front, back, and upper arms will direct airflow to your body when the sun is beaming down. The detachable hood - which protects your neck against the elements during riding - can be stored in the XL back pocket when not needed.

The Defender 3 GTX is designed for those who dream of exploring uncharted horizons and don't stop until they’ve fulfilled that dream. No matter what weather types you might encounter while chasing that dream, the Defender Pro GTX will help keep you going thanks to the detachable waterproof liner with a 3L GORE-TEX membrane. This waterproof motorcycle jacket is also equipped with a removable thermal liner for rides in colder weather. If you are looking for a motorcycle jacket with ample ventilation features, look no further because this motorcycle jacket has plenty of options to regulate the amount of airflow to your body.

Next to the VCS|Ventilation panels on the front and the multiple zippers on the arm and back, the motorcycle jacket also comes with a main front zipper that can be zipped open to reveal a mesh ventilation panel that directs a cool flow of air onto your body. With all the ventilation panels and zippers open, a lot of air will flow through the entire motorcycle jacket keeping you cool during rides in high temperatures. No matter what road you take - if there even is a road - this motorcycle jacket will keep you safe thanks to the SEEFLEX CE-level 2 protectors (at the shoulders and elbows) combined with the highly abrasion-resistant outer shell that is partly constructed with the rugged ripstop material.

To increase the abrasion resistance on the high impact areas of the outer shell, we added a protective multi-layer print to the elbow area as an additional layer of protection. It also comes prepared for the SEESOFT CE-level 2 back protector and our SEESOFT CE-level 1 divided chest protectors. If you want to upgrade even further, you can connect our Segur neck brace to the connection points on the jacket. There is plenty of space to store your essential belongings in the two front pockets, big rear pocket and two inner pockets. We also added a left sleeve pocket for easy access to payment cards or toll tickets without taking your gloves off. The front pockets can be closed with zippers to make sure your valuable possessions will stay put and will arrive together with you at your destination.
