All Motone Billet Mirrors use real automotive glass components in our mirror products due in part to the scratch resistant nature of the engineered Glass surface - polished aluminium for reflective surface cannot hold up to same level of scratch resistance - and the other key advantage of using engineered glass means we are able to achieve a R1400 lever of reflection (much wider angle than flat aluminium/non automotive glass).
