This is the BLACK version of the Motone Billet Ring Adapter for fitting gas caps to Speed Twin 1200 / Thruxton 1200 / Scrambler 1200
If you have tried to swap your fuel cap out from the stock "monza" on your Thruxton 1200/Speed Twin 1200/Scrambler 1200 tank you will have found that you have been left with a strange notched ridge that is welded into the top of the tank.
Up until now your only choice was either ignore it or grind it off.
We have machined these snap-fit ring adapters out of billet to take care of this problem for you.
