What is Strath Moto’s Return Policy?

Strath Moto would like you to be pleased with your purchases. If something isn’t to your satisfaction, we offer exchange or store credit on *eligible return items within 14 business days of original purchase.  Store credit is issued in the form of a gift card (or e-gift card) which can be applied at checkout to any other item we carry. Gift cards do not expire. We do NOT offer refunds. In the event a refund is honoured, a 15% restocking fee will be applied to cover the cost of shipping and any non-refundable fees charged to us by your credit company, PayPal, etc. as the case may be.

Strath Moto does NOT pay for the cost of return shipping; return shipping remains the responsibility of the purchaser.

All items that are being returned must be in new, unworn condition, just as they were received, with no signs of wear, not worn or altered, unwashed and returned with all original packaging and tags attached, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Strath Moto reserves the right to deny returns on goods that show signs of use (wear, bugs, dirt, smell, pet hair, scuffing, mounting, etc) or are otherwise in a different condition than when they were sold. Also, Strath Moto reserves the right to not return items that do not fall within the 14 day purchase period. We do not refund deposits on orders or layaways. Items purchased online are subject to our Online Return Policy. 

Note: Strath Moto is unable to offer refunds or exchanges to our customers outside of Canada and the USA.

Note on footwear purchases

Once you receive your footwear please check sizing by trying them on indoors on a clean surface that will not scuff or mark the soles. We are unable to accept exchanges or issue credit notes for footwear that is scuffed, marked or worn. All footwear exchanges or returns must come with the original box with no postal labels. Footwear returned without original box/packaging will not be accepted for credit note or exchange. 

*Which items are NOT eligible for exchange or store credit?

All helmets, chemicals, cleaning products, special orders, intimates (e.g. underwear, socks), and sale items are FINAL SALE: no exchange or store credit will be offered. Strath Moto reserves the right to charge a restocking fee on any exceptions to the foregoing. If we receive any final sale items for return/exchange we will return the package to you at your cost and notify you via email.

Online return process

For online orders, customers will be responsible for all shipping costs associated with sending their orders back to Strath Moto. All returns for online orders must be first approved by Strath Moto. Follow the process below for online returns:

• Step 1: Contact Strath Moto’s webstore at: info@strathmoto.com  to explain your return, be sure to include item name and reason for return.  

• Step 2: Once you have received your authorization to return the item(s), be sure to carefully pack all returned items in their original packaging/garment bag with all original tags intact and packing slip included with items for return noted.

• Step 3: Brokerage fees incurred by Strath Moto when shipments are sent via UPS, Fedex, etc. will be deducted from the credit being issued upon return. Please be aware that Strath Moto is not responsible for taxes, duties, brokerage or shipping fees on returned items, and any shipping costs associated with returned packages will be deducted from the customer’s store credit.

***ATTENTION USA CUSTOMERS: You will be responsible to pay any clearance fees (brokerage, duties, etc.) associated with your return shipment. If you are doing an exchange you will be invoiced for the cost of any clearance fees incurred prior to us shipping out your exchanged item. If you are requesting store credit instead of an exchange, any clearance fees will be deducted from the credit provided. Credit provided is issued in Canadian currency. In the event a refund is honoured, clearance fees will be deducted from the refund provided, in addition to the 15% restocking fee indicated above.

Strath Moto is not responsible for packages lost during return shipments. We recommend choosing a service that includes tracking and insurance for packages over $50-75. Please retain your tracking information for your records. 

• Step 4: When the returned goods have been received and inspected by Strath Moto, you will be sent a confirmation email which will include the full details of your current store credit. The store credit will reflect the full amount paid for the item(s) minus any brokerage fees/duties paid as well as the initial price paid by Strath Moto to ship the goods.

Online exchanges

Customers exchanging item(s) for a different size/item please place your order for the correct size/item at strathmoto.com to receive your item faster. The item(s) will be shipped out as usual and Strath Moto will contact you and issue a *refund once the returned item(s) are received, inspected, and deemed acceptable for return. Please follow our online return process above to return your exchanged item(s) to the shop. If you do not wish to reorder the items but rather have Strath Moto ship out the correct size once we receive your item back we can send you an invoice for the return shipping before sending your order out.

*Note: refunds issued on exchanged items can take 2-7 business days before funds are displayed in your account/statement.

Layaway Policy

Strath Moto does not currently offer layaway.
