As the story goes, the Holy Freedom Crew found an old Italian loom while travelling to Turkey, dating back to the 1960s that a company had bought over 30 years prior and had not used for the last 15 years. The Crew wanted to use it to make a unique fabric designed by them, complete with a very vintage feel. The fabric originally came in a beige colour, presented here as select garment-dyed pieces, including bordeaux and classic black.

Only 100 pieces of each Zizo sweatshirt have been made and we've managed to bring in but a few of those, making this a limited edition. Once she gone, she gone.

  • Fabric developed on an old loom from the 1960s
  • Composition: Heavyweight fabric: 100% cotton 230g, with coloured PL micro multi-stitches
  • Ribbing: 50% wool, 50% acrylic
  • Round neck
  • Wide cotton knit in natural colour fabric.
  • Soft "peach touch" treatment
  • Thick ribbed edges in contrasting colour
  • "Normal" fit
  • Contrast stitching on the sides
  • Silicone Holyfreedom® logo applied on the back

To assure ideal working conditions, our R&D incorporated the military grade Polartec® Alpha® into a full-stretch design with a purposefully snug fit. With added range-extending features like the inherent quick-dry, hydrophobic properties, durable ventilation under the armpits, as well as two side pockets and a chest pocket, this on-the-bike mid layer works perfectly well as a light off-the-bike insulating jacket, too.
