Taking its styling cues from a traditional high street fashion jacket, the Tewkesbury is constructed from the Merlin-exclusive waxed cotton Cotec – an 8oz lighter weight and more breathable wax produced by Halley Stevensons®. With D3O® armour pre-fitted to the shoulders and elbows and a pocket for an optional D3O® back protector, Tewkesbury is both protective and stylish. The fixed Reissa® waterproofing and double-layer storm flap under the central zip combines with a 70g thermal wadding for weatherproofing for an all-season riding jacket.

Constructed from 8oz Cotec, this Halley Stevensons-Merlin collaboration fabric is exclusive to us, and is stronger, lighter and more breathable than traditional waxed cotton. Edale makes use of Outlast temperature regulating technology within the thermal liner, which can be zipped out if necessary.
