Merlin Hixon II Leather Jacket

The original Hixon jacket was first released in 2016 and was a staple of the Merlin collection for many years. As part of the Hixon refresh we have kept the well-received super soft and supple leather and added in a number of new improvements. The first of these upgrades includes D3O® armour which sits in the shoulders and elbows. Hixon II then has a revised fit with a slightly longer length, new design details and crucially includes more ventilation – with three back vents and two chest ventilation points added.

Caring for your Hixon II jacket

Because of the ‘naked’ leather finish of Hixon II, we would recommend purchasing an aniline leather cleaner and an aniline leather guard. You can also buy aniline moisturiser to restore moisture to the Hixon at longer intervals. Please test any new cleaners on an inconspicuous area of the jacket first. Versatile waterproof multi-season mesh jacket for adventure riding in various weather conditions.

For those who don’t want to choose between a waterproof or a mesh motorcycle jacket for their adventures, the Levante 2 jacket is the silver-bullet solution. This versatile multi-season jacket has all the features you need for riding in the spring, summer, or fall. Waterproofing is provided by the easily removable hydratex|Lite liner that can be stored in the back pocket when not in use and can be worn underneath or on top of the outer shell. With the liner removed, cool air can easily flow through the jacket thanks to the big mesh panels on the front, back, and arms.

Warm weather is no match for this motorcycle jacket! Big storage pockets at the front and back will allow you to bring your essentials along for the ride. The Levante 2 H2O comes fully equipped with SEEFLEX CE-level 2 approved armor at the shoulders and elbows and is prepared for our SEESOFT back and chest protectors. Various adjustment tabs and straps will ensure a perfect fit to your body.

Styled on a US Navy jacket from our archive, the Convoy combines a real shearling collar with British Millerain 8oz, technical waxed cotton in Belstaff Olive and a light layer of insulation for comfort and performance. A drawstring hem keeps out the wind while mesh zip ventilation openings and an interlayered breathable, waterproof membrane aid cooling. Kevlar lined elbow and shoulder patches paired with D3O armour add protection, and a classic Belstaff ‘map’ chest pocket, checked cotton lining and sleeve logo complete the look.
