Accessory/replacement visors for the Nexx Y.100 and Y.100R line of helmets

These shields fit the following Nexx Helmet models:

• X.WED3
• X.WST3
• X.RALLY

Photochromic visor ONLY: The photochromic technology allows the visor to automatically adjust its tint according to ambient light: it stays clear at night and darkens under strong sunlight. This ensures maximum safety and visual comfort, day or night, without the need to change visors. The transition from clear to dark (and vice versa) takes approximately 5 to 8 minutes.

For best results and prolonged lifetime, store the helmet in environments with temperatures between 20°C and 30°C and relative humidity between 30% and 50%. Always keep the helmet indoors or in its storage bag after use, as prolonged exposure to UV light will reduce the visor’s lifetime.

• Provides extremely clear, bright vision in low light conditions
• Darkens quickly in bright sunlight
• UV protection rating: PC material is UV380
• Pinlock compatible
• Anti-scratch treatment for enhanced durability
• Photochromic visor lifetime: approximately 2 years under normal use

Visor/shield for Nexx X.TR helmets. Available in various colours, including a photochromic visor option that automatically darkens in sunshine and lightens for low-light conditions.

Replacement shields for Lane Splitter helmets are injection molded with highly scratch- and impact-resistant polycarbonate thermoplastic. Our latest Gen-2 shields fit all Lane Splitter models because they ship with an all-new baseplate kit. These baseplates have an improved mechanism that results in firmer detents for three open positions. Anti-fog treatment included for maximum optical clarity.

Technical Details

• Injection-molded scratch- and impact-resistant polycarbonate thermoplastic construction
• Colored shields feature in-mold tint technology
• Mirrored shields feature reflective coating in a variety of surface finishes to reduce glare
• Every shield color and style provides 91% UV/A and 99% AV/B light resistance based on AATCC-138 test standard
• Anti-fog treatment on shield interior fights moisture build-up from breathing and humidity

Care and Maintenance

To clean your shield, use mild soapy water solution and a microfiber cloth to loosen bugs and road debris, then dry it with a second clean microfiber towel. Never use harsh household or petroleum-based chemicals to clean your bubble shield, especially on the inside, as they can destroy the shield's special coatings. Apply one drop of medium-strength blue Loc-Tite to the threads of both hinge screws every time you install a shield.

Note: These shields will not work with the old ECE R22.05 Gringo S helmets because the closure has been updated.
