Caring for your Perton II Cotec jacket

To care for your jacket, begin by lightly brushing off any dirt or soil, and use a cold damp cloth if necessary to wipe down the jacket. Clean it in this way regularly to maintain its appearance, but don’t be too harsh as the wax will be removed. You can re-wax the jacket when it loses its waxed finish and water begins to soak into the cotton rather than bead off. Please do not machine wash, tumble dry or use hot water on your jacket. We want to make sure you can fully enjoy these moments by keeping you as comfortable and protected as possible. That is why we designed Defender 3 GTX pants. They’re a versatile pair of rugged pair of pants that are prepared to take on any weather type you may encounter out on the road. To keep you comfortable in cold and wet weather, we equipped them with a removable 3-layer GORE-TEX waterproof liner, along with a removable thermal liner for insulation in colder temperatures.

The outer shell is equipped with stretch inserts above the knee and under the waist to increase freedom of movement during active riding on or off the road. When the temperature starts to rise while riding, you can easily open the VCS|Ventilation panels on the upper legs and secure them using the magnetic Fidlock® closure. By opening the exhaust vent on the rear of the pocket, you will create a steady flow of air through the pants keeping your upper legs cool and comfortable. Under the rugged outer shell constructed of ripstop material, we installed SEESMART CE-Level 1 hip protectors and height-adjustable SEEFLEX CE-level 2 knee protectors. To increase the abrasion resistance on the high-impact areas of the outer shell we added a protective, multi-layer print to the knee area.

There are ample storage points so you can bring your essentials including two waterproof slit pockets at the waist and waterproof pockets on the upper legs. These side pockets are equipped with zippers to make sure your belongings stay inside, where they belong. To get the perfect fit to your body you can adjust the straps at the waist and calves. With the hook-and-loop closures on the calves, you can adjust these pants to fit with any motorcycle boots you can think of. The circumference of the head should be measured with a cloth measuring tape at a point just above the eyebrows, around the ears, and at a point in the back of the head that results in the largest possible measurement. Take several measurements to make sure you have the largest one. Compare to the size chart below. If you are in between sizes, better to choose the larger size.

The cheek pads should be in contact with the cheeks with a snug fit but without excessive pressure. Look for gaps between the temples and the brow pad. After this, check movement of the helmet up and down and side to side. As you test the movement, the helmet padding should not slide easily over the skin, but rather, should pull the skin in the direction of rotation. A proper-fitting helmet will feel snug with fairly even pressure around the sides and top of your head.

PRODUCT CARE

Helmets are made of materials that can be damaged by many commonly available cleaners.
Clean the helmet using a soft cloth or sponge, warm water and mild soap.
When drying, be careful the helmet doesn't get too hot as this can damage the interior EPS lining.
Let dry at room temperature; never use heating appliances as too high temperature will damage the inner liner material and inner shell.
Clean the removable liner by hand washing, then leave to air dry.

Caring for your Brody shirt
To care for your shirt, remove all armour from the shoulders, elbows and back and also any removable inner liners. Use a lint-free brush or cloth to really get into any especially dirty areas, then hand-wash the shirt with a mild or diluted detergent in cool water. Although the Sand 4 gloves have been designed to create a perfect match with the Sand 4 H2O outfit, these gloves are bound to become the go-to gloves for a large audience of adventure riders across the globe. This pair of hand protection has been specifically designed and engineered for summer use, providing optimal grip, breathability, and ventilation. To make sure your hands stay cool and dry during hot summer rides, the gloves are constructed of strong and abrasion-resistant mesh stretch fabrics combined with a high-tech TPR knuckle protector that is designed to direct the airflow into the glove and onto the hands of the rider. Multiple perforation holes on the outside and inside increase the breathability even more. For additional protection, we added TPR protectors on the fingers and thumbs; providing a high level of protection without compromising comfort or flexibility. A TPR palm slider ensures a controlled slide in case of an unfortunate mishap. The gloves can easily be put on thanks to the handy pull tab on the cuff and then secured with the hook-and-loop wrist strap.
