The DMD P1 is a jet helmet influenced by the shell shape of the iconic Seventies but with a next generation visor that's totally removable. The helmet comes standard with a clear visor, but a smoke visor can be purchased separately here.

Thanks to an easy-off mechanism you can take the visor off, leaving you with two products in one: a jet helmet with handy flip-up visor and a simple jet helmet that you can wear with sunglasses or goggles.

TECHNICAL DETAILS:

  • Fiberglass Shell
  • Removable and washable liner
  • Three different shells for perfect fit and maximum compactness
    • Shell 1: XS - 54 cm; S - 55 cm
    • Shell 2: M - 56/57 cm
    • Shell 3: L - 58 cm; XL - 59/60 cm
  • Note: these are compatible with with the DMD Ghost goggles when the visor is removed.
  • Padded chin strap with Double D-ring closure
  • ECE Homologation

PRODUCT CARE

  • Helmets are made of materials that can be damaged by many commonly available cleaners.
  • Clean the helmet using a soft cloth or sponge, warm water and mild soap.
  • When drying, be careful the helmet doesn't get too hot as this can damage the interior EPS lining.
  • Let dry at room temperature, never use heating appliances as too high temperature will damage the inner liner material and inner shell.
  • Clean the removable liner by hand washing then permit to air dry whenever possible to avoid heat damage.
